the secret to feeling “enough”

Some people stay in a career that’s not making them happy because they think getting that higher title / salary / brand name on their resume will finally make them feel “enough”. You might think that the imposter syndrome will go away if you prove yourself worthy of that next promotion, that award, an invitation to that exclusive event full of important people.

The irony is that you’ll always feel inadequate on a ladder that’s not meant for you, no matter how high you get on that ladder. It’s always going to feel like an uphill battle because you’re stuck playing a game that’s not yours. Maybe you have been an imposter after all, just not in the way that you thought.

When you stop chasing external validation and focus on putting your truest self out into the world, you’ll effortlessly attract what is meant for you and you’ll finally feel enough.
